Dispatch Core Values Equal Success for Drivers

Behind every successful company is a solid foundation that helped maintain it while it was being built. For Dispatch, that foundation is our core values. These values guide everything we do at Dispatch. Below we’ll outline these values and how each one is essential to providing excellent customer service as a Dispatch Driver.

Behind every successful company is a solid foundation that helped maintain it while it was being built. For Dispatch, that foundation is our core values. These values guide everything we do at Dispatch — from our employee hiring practices to how we serve our customers to our expectations for drivers.

That last point is especially important — if our drivers are able to exhibit our values then there’s no doubt they’ll be successful. Below we’ll outline these values and how each one is equally essential to providing excellent customer service.

People First

Putting people first means showing a level of professionalism when interacting with customers and support staff. A good interaction with the customer increases the likelihood that the customer will place more orders with us, leading to more opportunities to make money for the driver. We want our customers to feel like they’re getting a service that no other app provides and our drivers putting people first goes a long way toward that goal.

Belief

Our best drivers tend to be the ones who have a strong belief in the Dispatch mission. Belief can take on many forms, whether that’s believing in yourself, the company, or the Dispatch app. Typically when drivers have high belief in Dispatch, they’re more likely to display some of the other core values. At the very least, if our drivers believe in providing the best service possible then that’s all we can ask for.

Driven to Deliver

Being driven to deliver is one of the top traits we look for in drivers. When a driver is driven to deliver they’ll typically do what it takes to get the job done. Whether it's taking on an already late order to keep a customer happy or helping us out with a high value order that might be on a time crunch, we love drivers that display this trait.

Speed to Value

Showing speed to value means going above and beyond for the customer without us asking. An example of this would be calling the customer pickup and drop-off contacts prior to being en route to make sure you have a full picture of where you need to go once you arrive. That’ll also allow you to provide an ETA to the customer so they know when to expect you. We always encourage our drivers to communicate as much as possible with customers, and the best ones do it unprompted.

Transparency

Last but not least, the value our app was created to solve for in final-mile delivery: transparency. Transparency from our drivers means you’re always keeping the customer and our support staff in the loop on what’s happening with the delivery. Letting us know if you’re running late because of traffic is an example of transparency. For our frequent cargo van drivers, updating us on your availability for the week is also great transparency. The more we know, the more we’re able to help if anything goes wrong, and the more forgiving a customer will be in that situation.

All of these values work together to create a seamless experience for our customers. More importantly for you, they also go a long way toward drivers maximizing their earning potential. If you stick to these values you’ll have the foundation to become a top driver in no time!

If you think you know someone who would be a great fit for our core values, send them our way. If you’re an existing driver you’d be eligible for our referral bonus
