How did you hear about Dispatch?
I was actually reached out to by one of the old team lead drivers. They said that there was an opportunity within the company for a driver that knew the roads well, here in Chicago. And didn’t have any time constraints on how long or little I wanted to work.
How long have you been driving with Dispatch?
Almost a year now, started at the beginning of 2019.
What kind of vehicle do you drive?
A Dodge Ram cargo van.
Why did you decide that Dispatch was the best job fit for you and your lifestyle?
It gave me the freedom to work when I wanted while also giving me the opportunity to drive where I wanted. If you’re a busy individual working on other business ventures, this is a perfect gig that gives you the freedom to pickup jobs here and there when you have time. The fact that there are so many orders throughout the day also gives the drivers a wide array of options to choose from.
Tell us your favorite Dispatch story!
The relationships I’ve built with our clients. When picking up an order from said clients, they know that I’ll not only be doing so in a timely manner, but also giving the drop-off location an easy and efficient experience as well.

The freedom it provides to anyone looking for a side gig that pays good money.
What’s your favorite thing about being able to set your own hours?
The freedom for sure.
If you could give any advice to other drivers at Dispatch, what would it be?
Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark. Regardless of who you are or what you do outside of Dispatch, take pride in your job. The quality you show while doing so is a direct reflection of not only you but the company as well.
